Organization: OFFICE OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL Job Title: Child Support Officer III Salary: $3, - $4, (Monthly) Experience: 1 year in Child Support Program, credit collections, investigations, legal assistant, legal secretary, customer service, or IV-A eligibility specialist Bullet Points: - Seeking a dedicated and mission-driven individual to join the Office of the Attorney General's Child Support Division as a Child Support Officer III. - Responsible for conducting investigations, establishing paternity, obtaining court orders for financial support and healthcare coverage, and enforcing child support orders. - Collaborates with state agencies and community organizations to support Texas families. - Full-time position with a standard work week of 40 hours and occasional travel (up to 5%). - Graduation from high school or equivalent required, with a Bachelor's degree preferred. - Must have at least 1 year of experience in a related field such as child support, credit collections, investigations, legal assistance, or customer service. - Strong skills in investigation, negotiation, computer use, multitasking, and communication are necessary. - Must be able to work well in a team and provide excellent customer service. - Fluency in Spanish is a plus. - Must be able to pass a criminal background check and lift up to 30 lbs. - Salary range of $3, - $4, (Monthly) with excellent benefits. - Equal opportunity employer with a smoke-free workplace.
