Law Firm is seeking a Senior Staff Attorney to join their Litigation Practice. The role is a unique opportunity to be part of the Firm’s ongoing representation of the SIPA Trustee in the Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities bankruptcy proceedings, the largest Ponzi scheme in history. The firm has already recovered more than for the victims.

**Qualifications:**
- Effective and persuasive writing and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and assume a high degree of responsibility
- Professional commitment and interpersonal skills necessary to succeed in a collaborative team environment
- Strong academic record
- Must be admitted to practice law in the state of New York
- Prior experience as a judicial law clerk is a plus

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Handling discovery and litigation discovery disputes
- Speaking directly with clients and opposing counsel
- Taking and defending depositions
- Conducting witness interviews
- Drafting and arguing pleadings and motions
- Day-to-day case management
- Participation in trial preparation

**Compensation:**
The expected annual salary for this position ranges from $240,000 - $325,000.
