Construction Litigation Associate – Portland:

- Schwabe, a premier Northwest regional law firm, is seeking a construction litigation associate in Portland, OR.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in transactional and/or litigation construction law, including drafting pleadings, participating in discovery, and motion practice.
- Candidates must also have knowledge of lien laws, bid protests, delay and impact claims, and governmental contracts.
- Excellent academic credentials, research, analysis, writing, and communication skills are required.
- This position also requires a strong commitment to client service and the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented setting.
- Candidates must be interested in business development in the real estate/construction industry.
- Oregon State Bar admission or eligibility for reciprocity is required.
- The pay range for this position is $165,000 - $185,000, with the potential for discretionary merit bonuses at the end of each calendar year.
- In-person work in the office is required on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with flexibility for remote work on Mondays and Fridays.

Experience and Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience in transactional and/or litigation construction law

- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented setting
- Strong client service ethics
- Interest in business development in the real estate/construction industry

Compensation and Benefits:

- Pay range of $165,000 - $185,000, depending on experience
- Discretionary merit bonuses at the end of each calendar year
