#Litigation Paralegal

##Job Summary
MGC Law Firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our Atlanta, GA office. The ideal candidate should have a four-year degree and/or certificate from an ABA approved paralegal program, along with 2-3 years of insurance defense work experience. This position offers flexibility regarding a hybrid/remote work arrangement after successful completion of our training period.

##Job Duties and Responsibilities

- Organize files
- Review bills
- Prepare various acknowledgement letters to client, insured and commission
- Log mail into case management software, docket specific deadlines and tasks for attorney(s)
- Scan and drop appropriate documents into ProLaw (pleadings, e-filings, etc.)
- Coordinate IME’s and request medical records
- Draft discovery
- Review medical records and prepare medical chronologies
- Prepare settlement documents
- General follow up
- Works as a member of a team
- Accepts change in a productive manner
