Personal Injury Attorney
The candidate will have the responsibility of independently managing a large caseload of which 95%-98% will be motor vehicle accident cases. The caseload will predominantly consist of pre-suit cases with some litigation duties. Focus on providing aggressive, effective, ethical representation to each individual client. Provide legal support and guidance to clients. Find ethical solutions to legal matters. Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers. Cover PIP recorded statements and PIP Examinations Under Oath. Otherwise handling case management from inception to completion. Stay informed about any current legislation and case law. Build trustworthy relationships with clients. Draft pleadings, written discovery, and motions. Argue motions and cover depositions.

Qualification and Experience The candidate must have 1-3 years of experience as an attorney handling personal injury cases; strong communication and negotiation skills as well as be solution-oriented; Florida licensed attorney in good standing with Florida Bar, with no disciplinary or malpractice history; outstanding academic credentials; superior oral and written advocacy skills; knowledge of federal and state statues, court rules, forms, processes, and procedures that apply to personal injury practice in Florida including Fla. Stat. §627.736, §627.727, §768.76. Must be self-motivated looking for growth opportunities and have an impeccable standing with the Florida Bar; able to stay focused and organized as well as meet deadlines; self-starter driven by long-term career goals; team-oriented.
