Hinshaw & Culbertson, a top national law firm, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced associate to join their team as a Mid-Level Financial Services Litigation Associate. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take on a high level of responsibility in state or federal court matters, specifically in defending financial institutions in single-plaintiff litigation and appeals. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, with a focus on financial services, contested foreclosure, and/or Illinois commercial litigation. Strong writing and communication skills are a must, and Illinois bar admission is required for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Defend financial institutions in single-plaintiff litigation and appeals
- Handle state and federal court matters with a high level of responsibility
- Utilize strong writing and communication skills to effectively represent clients
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support cases
- Work closely with partners and senior associates on complex cases

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience
- Strong background in financial services, contested foreclosure, and/or Illinois commercial litigation
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Illinois bar admission
- Ability to handle a high level of responsibility in state and federal court matters
- Team player with a strong work ethic
