#Law Firm Seeks Mechanical Patent Attorney or Agent

Nixon & Vanderhye ., a leading Washington, intellectual property law firm, is looking for a patent attorney or agent for a mechanical-related patent applications with no more than 2-4 years of experience in preparing and prosecuting.

##Qualifications

The successful candidate should have:
- A Bachelor's degree, or higher, in Mechanical Engineering
- Excellent writing and analytic skills
- Preferably prosecution experience related to medical devices and/or textiles
- Fluency in mechanical and design language
- Foreign prosecution experience is a plus, but not required

##Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:
- Work directly with clients
- Interact with products from clients and their competitors
- Manage clients’ patent portfolios in the . and foreign countries
- Work independently as well as collaboratively with experienced, partner-level attorneys
- Travel for client visits, including overseas
