As a Senior Estates Paralegal, you will work closely with your local attorney(s) and team to assist with case planning, development, and management, legal research, client communication, and drafting and filing legal documents. Responsibilities:

- Perform a variety of paralegal and administrative tasks with a higher degree of independence and responsibility than other legal assistants within the firm.
- Manage attorney dockets to ensure timely completion of deadlines.
- Review files and communicate with attorneys about upcoming deadlines.
- Assist attorneys with preparing for client meetings, depositions, mediations, and other legal proceedings.
- Draft legal documents such as letters, briefs, memorandums, and discovery.
- File and e-file legal documents.
- Maintain client files, both electronic and physical.
- Communicate with clients regularly.
- Conduct legal research and draft accordingly.
- Provide top-notch legal products and superior service to clients.
- Contribute to the improvement of standard operating procedures, forms, and workflow processes.
- Coordinate and train internal office staff and other admin staff in their area(s) and across other transactional practice areas.
- Cover the front desk and phones when necessary.
- Maintain a professional reputation amongst clients, opposing counsel, Judges, Court staff, and colleagues.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
- Paralegal certificate.
- 5+ years of Paralegal experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
- Ability to work independently and complete assignments within given parameters and standard practices.

Desired Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Knowledge of Wealth Counsel software preferred.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Positive and professional demeanor with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
