## Hiring for Assistant District Attorney in **Members Only**

The **Members Only** District Attorney’s Office is looking for a qualified, experienced individual to join their team as an Assistant District Attorney. This professional position is responsible for the preparation and prosecution of criminal cases before the courts. The incumbent will be expected to work under the supervision of the District Attorney or his designee with wide leeway for the exercise of independent judgment. This will involve appearing in court and prosecuting cases at hearings, trials, and/or Grand Jury.

### Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

- Graduation from an American Bar Association accredited law school
- NYS License to practice law
- Preference may be given to applicants with experience in the practice of criminal law
- Candidate must be a resident of Oswego, Cayuga, Jefferson, Lewis, Madison, Oneida, or Onondaga County at time of appointment

### Salary & Benefits

The starting salary for this position is $72,969 plus a competitive benefit package. Salary is negotiable and will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
