Job Description:

As an Intellectual Property Associate Attorney at Godfrey & Kahn, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of aspects related to intellectual property, including litigation, trademark and patent applications, corporate transactions, and technology agreements. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and a desire to work on a high performing team. A degree in engineering or science, or eligibility to sit for the patent bar, is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

- Protect clients' intellectual property rights by formulating strategies to obtain, protect, and commercialize their intellectual property.
- Lead litigation efforts to enforce and defend clients' rights.
- Prepare and prosecute trademark and patent applications.
- Support corporate transactions involving intellectual property.
- Draft and negotiate technology agreements.

Qualifications:

- Two to seven years of experience in intellectual property law.
- Degree in engineering or science, or eligibility to sit for the patent bar.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Previous experiences and personal skills that mark you as a future leader in the firm and community.
