- Advanced degree (preferred) in chemical engineering, petroleum engineering, or relevant experience in the petrochemical industry, particularly in downstream technology
- 8+ years of patent prosecution experience, including drafting patent applications, prosecuting before the USPTO, coordinating with foreign patent offices and local counsel, and providing strategic counseling to clients
- Strong analytical skills for complex legal matters
- Excellent writing skills and academic credentials
- Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse group of clients, attorneys, and staff
- Enjoys working in a team-oriented environment
- Active membership in state bar and compliance with CLE requirements
