Job Overview: A law firm seeks an experienced Immigration Partner to collaborate closely with other partners and senior associates. The successful candidate will manage employment-based (temporary and permanent) and family-based immigration petitions and applications, representing the firm’s clients before various government authorities.
Duties:
- Collaborate with partners and senior associates on immigration matters.
- Manage employment-based and family-based immigration petitions and applications.
- Represent clients before USCIS, consular, and other government authorities.
- Handle various visa categories including E-2 Treaty visas, O-2 visas, and L-1 intracompany transferee visas.
- Ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8+ years of immigration experience in a law firm setting.
- Excellent drafting and communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively within deadlines.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- Membership in the Florida Bar or in the process of obtaining membership.
- A portable book of business is required.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Membership in the Florida Bar.
