The candidate will handle PI case files from start to finish. Will be supported by legal assistants, paralegals, and case managers, who will help lead client communications to assist with various demands related to their own cases. Overall, attention to detail is very important for this position, along with the willingness to interact with clients and other attorneys. Review and evaluate PI claims and provide legal advice to clients. Draft/respond to complaints, motions, and discovery. Take and defend depositions, including expert depositions. Attend hearings, and provide guidance and counsel to clients. Document all legal action and communication in case files through the software Smart Advocate. Texas Bar license essential.
