Introduction

Ryder is currently seeking an experienced Employee Relations Partner to join our team. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home. We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience in HR compliance, generalist, or employee relations roles. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide consistent, tactical Employee Relations consultation to Managers and Employees
- Conduct HR related investigations to ensure adherence to policies and regulations
- Analyze and interpret data to monitor employee relations trends and provide proactive solutions
- Partner with Operational Management, HR Business Partners, and Legal teams to address complex employee relations issues
- Ensure high-quality HR support through performance management and risk mitigation
- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and employment legislation within the region

Essential Skills and Abilities

- Ability to conduct sensitive investigations and identify violations of laws and policies
- Strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Impartiality and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to build professional relationships at all levels of the organization
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Flexibility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new technology quickly

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational management, law, or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in HR compliance, generalist, or employee relations roles
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Willingness to travel as needed within the supported region

Salary and Benefits

- Salary range of $60,000 - $70,000
