Position Summary:

Wiggin and Dana LLP, a leading law firm, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Commercial Litigation Associate to join our team. This role will be based in either our New Haven, Stamford, Hartford, or New York office and requires a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a leading law firm. The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials and strong research and writing skills, with clerkship experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Represent clients in all phases of commercial litigation, including pre-trial discovery, motions practice, mediation, and trial
- Conduct legal research and provide written and oral analysis to clients and partners
- Manage and prioritize multiple cases and deadlines effectively
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to provide exceptional client service
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues

Required Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Connecticut and/or New York State Bar
- 3-4 years of experience in commercial litigation at a leading law firm
- Excellent academic credentials
- Strong research and writing skills
- Experience with all phases of litigation, including discovery, motions practice, and trial
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple cases and deadlines
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic and dedication to providing excellent client service
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients

Compensation and Benefits:

- Competitive base salary in the range of $160,000 - $192,500, dependent on experience and other relevant factors
