Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm is seeking a highly skilled Structured Finance Of Counsel to join its finance group within the structured finance subgroup. This position offers an opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-profile financial transactions, including securitizations and CLOs. The role requires significant experience in structured finance and the ability to provide high-level legal counsel to clients in various jurisdictions.

Location:

  • Boston, MA

Duties:

  • Advise clients on complex structured finance transactions, including securitizations and CLOs
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal agreements and financial documentation
  • Provide strategic legal counsel regarding regulatory and market developments impacting the structured finance industry
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders
  • Lead and manage high-value structured finance projects, ensuring quality and efficiency
  • Mentor and supervise junior attorneys within the finance practice group
  • Conduct legal research on emerging issues within structured finance
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects, ensuring timely completion and high standards of work
  • Collaborate with other practice areas to provide integrated legal services to clients

Requirements:

  • Minimum 9 years of experience in structured finance, securitization, and CLOs
  • Experience working at a recognized law firm, preferably within the AmLaw 100
  • Proven expertise in handling complex financial transactions
  • Ability to manage multiple client matters simultaneously while maintaining high standards of legal work
  • Strong client relationship management skills
  • Capacity to lead, mentor, and collaborate with other attorneys and support staff
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction.
