A law firm in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a highly qualified Corporate Attorney with 8-10 years of law firm or clerkship experience. The role will primarily focus on transactional work, including mergers, acquisitions, asset purchases, divestitures, financings, and general contract matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general corporate and business transactions, with a specific interest and experience in mergers and acquisitions.
Duties:
- Handle various transactional matters, including mergers, acquisitions, asset purchases, divestitures, financings, and general contract issues.
- Provide legal counsel to public and private organizations with local, national, and multinational operations.
- Continuously build and expand a practice around mergers and acquisitions.
- Utilize extensive experience in representing clients in corporate and business transactions.
- Prioritize and manage multiple client matters efficiently.
- Demonstrate strong writing and analytical skills.
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in the state.
- 8-10 years of law firm or clerkship experience.
- Extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions.
- Strong background in general corporate and business transactions.
- Excellent academic background.
- Prior employment in a law firm environment is particularly favored.
- Excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
