The law firm of Jackson Lewis . is seeking an experienced labor and employment attorney for the position of Of Counsel in their Los Angeles, CA office. With over 950 attorneys located in major cities across the country, Jackson Lewis has been a leader in the field of labor and employment law since 1958. The firm is consistently recognized for its expertise in this area, and is ranked in the First Tier nationally for Labor and Employment Litigation, as well as for Employment Law and Labor Law on behalf of Management. As an Of Counsel attorney, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of highly skilled and experienced attorneys to provide strategic guidance and legal solutions to clients in the areas of labor and employment law. You will be responsible for conducting audits of employer practices, drafting and revising incentive compensation documents, and developing policies and handbooks that promote inclusivity and respect for all employees. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to explain complex employment law issues to a range of audiences and identify practical and legal solutions for clients. If you have a JD from an ABA-accredited law school, are admitted to the CA State Bar and have at least 9 years of relevant experience, we encourage you to apply for this position. A knowledge of federal, state, and local workplace and employment law is a plus, as well as an understanding of current agency enforcement techniques. Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational and project management skills, and excellent written and oral communication skills are also required for this position. Experience conducting trainings or workplace investigations is preferred, but not required. In this role, you will be offered a competitive salary in the range of $253,000-$275,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
