Corporate Tax Senior Manager - Philadelphia, PA

The Corporate Tax Senior Manager will be responsible for providing tax planning, compliance, and ASC 740 income tax accounting services for various clients. This role offers the opportunity for growth and advancement within the firm, with the potential to become a Partner or Managing Director. As a member of our Corporate Tax Solutions Family, you will work closely with other team members and specialists in our tax practice to support all areas of the client's tax functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising multiple client services teams on engagements, including planning, executing, directing, and completing tax projects
• Providing innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients
• Marketing, selling, designing, and implementing tax-planning strategies for clients
• Managing engagement fundamentals such as realization, utilization, leverage, accounts receivable, and expenses
• Conducting primary and secondary review of complicated or complex tax returns and ASC 740 income tax provision engagements
• Researching and consulting on various tax matters
• Maintaining strong relationships with clients and effectively communicating with client management and staff at all levels
• Gaining an understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives
• Attending professional development and training sessions
• Adhering to professional standards and maintaining client confidentiality
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Master's degree in Taxation, LLM in Taxation, or JD preferred
• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience
• CPA or JD/active law license required
• Experience in public accounting preferred
• Strong knowledge of corporate income tax and ASC 740 Accounting for Income Taxes
• Excellent analytical, technical, and tax accounting/technology skills
• Strong working knowledge of statutory income tax compliance and consulting, including state and local income taxes, international taxation, and transfer pricing
• Exceptional client service, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Experience with OneSource Tax Provision preferred
• Ability to travel as needed
