A law firm seeks an experienced and compassionate Family Law Attorney to join a high-growth team dedicated to providing exceptional legal representation in family law matters. Duties:

  • Advise clients on legal rights and responsibilities, offering detailed analysis of family law issues.
  • Handle a diverse caseload, including complex divorce, parental responsibility, and timesharing matters.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other necessary legal documents.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences.
  • Show empathy and compassion to clients while serving as a strong advocate for their legal needs.
  • Led and mentored team members, including paralegals and other legal staff, fostering a team-oriented environment.
  • Manage client relationships with professionalism and ensure timely case progression.
  • Maintain compliance with legal ethics and firm standards, providing superb client service.

Requirements:

  • Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar (required).
  • Strong litigation and courtroom experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and court officials.
  • Proven ability to manage a fast-paced workload independently while maintaining high standards.
  • Proficiency in legal software, including Microsoft Office and Clio (preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Florida.

Certifications:

  • Florida Bar License (required).

Skills:

  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to lead by example and collaborate effectively with the legal team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Mastery of Zoom and video conferencing software for remote court appearances.
  • Familiarity with case management software and technology tools for document drafting and time tracking.
