Job Title: Private Equity Finance Attorney

Experience: 1+ years of private equity sponsored leveraged acquisition finance transactions experience

Salary: $250,000 - $400,000 per year (depending on location and qualifications)

Location: Miami, Florida (with additional locations in Chicago, Illinois; Atlanta, Georgia; New York, New York; Dallas, Texas; and Austin, Texas)

Job Description:

As a Private Equity Finance Attorney, you will work on a variety of private equity sponsored financing transactions, including traditional leveraged financings, term loan and revolver facilities, cash flow and asset-based loan facilities, and mezzanine credit facilities. You will also have the opportunity to work with portfolio companies of private equity clients and manage closing processes, review and draft loan documents, and provide borrower-side representation. Lender-side representation experience, especially with private credit lenders, is also desired.

Responsibilities:

- Work on a broad range of private equity sponsored financing transactions
- Manage closing processes and review and draft loan documents
- Provide borrower-side representation (lender-side representation experience preferred)
- Work with portfolio companies of private equity clients
- Collaborate with peers to find innovative solutions for clients
- Direct your own growth and pursue a wide range of practice opportunities
- Enhance the firm's expertise in practice areas and industries
- Comply with all firm policies and practices
- Engage in both physical and sedentary activity, such as working at a computer, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed
- Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned

Requirements:

- degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in the state where hired
- 1+ years of private equity sponsored leveraged acquisition finance transactions experience
- Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm or SEC experience

Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Other Requirements:

- Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
- Work Environment: Hybrid with some in-office expectations or remote (as appropriate). Some travel may be required.
