The role involves active engagement in insurance defense and coverage matters, providing legal support in personal injury, premises liability, and first-party property cases. Candidates should bring strong research, writing, and advocacy skills to support nationwide litigation, working in collaboration with experienced partners and legal professionals.

Duties:

• Represent insurers and insureds in civil litigation matters involving personal injury, property claims, and general liability

• Conduct legal research, draft motions, pleadings, and discovery responses

• Participate in and take the lead on depositions, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations

• Assist in trial preparation and courtroom proceedings

• Evaluate complex coverage issues for domestic and international clients

• Provide strategic input on case assessments and mitigation planning

• Work closely with partners on multifaceted, high-stakes litigation across jurisdictions

Requirements:

• 3-7 years of experience in civil litigation at a law firm or through a judicial clerkship

• Substantial experience with first-party property, insurance coverage, or general liability defense

• Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently

• Strong legal writing, analysis, and research capabilities

• Excellent verbal communication and client-interaction skills

• Detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently under pressure

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited . law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the State of Florida

Skills:

• Litigation and case management

• Legal research and brief drafting

• Deposition and courtroom advocacy

• Strategic thinking and problem-solving

• Collaboration with multi-state legal teams

• Fluency in Spanish or experience in Latin American legal matters (a plus, not required)
