Job Overview: A law firm in San Francisco is seeking Mid-level and Senior Real Estate Associate Attorney with substantial experience in real estate transactions. The ideal candidates will have a solid background in mortgage/mezzanine debt, joint-venture equity work, acquisitions and dispositions, or development. Duties:

  • Represent clients in real estate transactions, including mortgage and mezzanine debt, joint-venture equity, acquisitions, dispositions, and development projects.
  • Draft and negotiate transaction documents, including loan agreements, joint-venture agreements, purchase and sale agreements, and development agreements.
  • Conduct due diligence and review title and survey documents.
  • Advise clients on regulatory compliance and risk management related to real estate transactions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop strategic solutions for complex real estate matters.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior attorneys and staff.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in one or more of the following areas: mortgage/mezzanine debt, joint-venture equity, acquisitions and dispositions, and/or development.
  • Strong background in real estate transactions or a relevant non-real estate transactional background.
  • Commitment to professional growth, mentorship, and a positive work environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the California State Bar.

Skills:

  • Expertise in real estate law and transactions.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under pressure.
