Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Counsel to join the Employment Counseling & Litigation Section in the Employment Division of the Wells Fargo Legal Department. This role will involve providing legal advice and representation for the company in complex litigation, negotiations, and settlement discussions related to employment issues. The Senior Counsel will also be responsible for managing highly complex claims and litigation, providing guidance to internal clients on legal matters, and developing risk mitigation strategies.

H2: Responsibilities

- Provide legal advice and representation for the company in complex litigation, negotiations, and settlement discussions related to employment issues
- Manage highly complex claims and litigation
- Provide guidance to internal clients on legal matters to assist with risk assessment, planning, and policy decisions
- Draft complex legal documents and review and negotiate documents prepared by outside counsel
- Identify and analyze complex legal issues and develop recommendations for issue resolution
- Develop the strategic direction for certain claims functions and manage related policies, procedures, and controls
- Educate, train, and supervise less experienced attorneys within the Legal department
- Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Partner with business leaders and management of other corporate departments to develop and implement risk management programs

H2: Qualifications

- 4+ years of Law experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Active State Bar membership or the equivalent in a country outside the United States
- Experience with management-side labor law and handling state and federal employment law matters
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a complex environment with a high degree of collaboration

H2: Job Expectations

- Travel up to 10%
- Ability to work at one of our approved job posting locations
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule, in office at least 3 days a week

Pay Range: $120, - $287,
