# Legal Conflicts Review Analyst ## Job Category: Support Analysts ### Job Details Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz . is looking for a Legal Conflicts Review Analyst with administrative experience, professional demeanor, exceptional communication, organizational and computer skills, and a proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently or within a group, be detail-oriented, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. The Conflicts Review Analyst will be responsible for: * Reviewing assigned requests routed to Analyst through the Firm’s New Business Intake (NBI) platform for accuracy and completeness; resolving any deficiencies or errors * Reviewing conflicts reports related to assigned request * Identifying any possible matches between parties in new request and Firm files * In accordance with directions, determining whether any potential matches could present a conflict * Communicating with attorneys to determine whether new matter may present any ethical or other conflict (., is current file still active and/or whether suspect parties in new and current matter are the same) * Where inquiries identify potential conflicts, reassigning matter for further review to conflict attorney for clearance * Documenting all actions taken in this process in NBI database * Performing additional tasks related to operation of the Firm Conflicts Review Department as assigned by Conflicts Counsel #### Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: * Skills attributable to a paralegal or experienced, multi-area practice secretary * Flexible, independent worker who can follow instructions * Law firm experience in opening files or clearing conflicts preferred * Involvement with the Firm's file opening/conflict system (or firm of similar size and breadth) * Strong written and oral communication skills * Detail oriented experience/abilities * College degree preferred The position offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
