We are currently seeking motivated professionals to join our nationally ranked firm in the position of Associate Attorney in General Liability at our Peoria, IL office.

Responsibilities:

As an Associate Attorney in our Trucking/Transportation practice group, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and complex cases. Primary duties include file review and legal analysis, extensive legal research and drafting of briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefs. You will also have the chance to regularly represent clients in court, at arbitrations, and in depositions. Other responsibilities include drafting and responding to discovery requests, expert witness retention and collaboration, trial preparation, and some travel may be required.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must have 3-5 years of experience in General Liability/Trucking/Transportation, a . degree from an ABA-approved law school, and be admitted to practice in the state of Pennsylvania (admission in other states is a plus, but not required). We are looking for candidates with superior analytical and problem-solving skills, solid research abilities, and excellent written and oral communication skills. The ideal candidate will also have a strong work ethic, the ability to self-manage and work in a team environment, and excellent client skills and telephone manner.
