The ideal candidate will have experience in employment law, civil rights law, police brutality law, or municipal liability law. This position will be responsible for managing a caseload of employment discrimination cases and advocating for our clients in all aspects of the litigation process. Responsibilities: - Conduct intake process and identify potential cases - Manage caseload of employment discrimination cases, including sexual harassment, race, gender, age, pregnancy, and disability discrimination claims - Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies and assess potential outcomes - Draft, review, and file legal documents - Conduct depositions, witness interviews, and client consultations to gather evidence - Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, settlement conferences, and court proceedings - Provide legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the litigation process - Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm Qualifications: - 3-5 years of federal litigation experience in employment law, civil rights law, police brutality law, or municipal liability law - Knowledge of federal practice - Ability to manage a large caseload independently - Firsthand experience in all aspects of lawsuits - Strong legal writing, research, and analysis skills - Excellent communication and persuasion skills - Strong time management and organizational skills - Ability to work independently and in a team-based environment - Commitment to advocating for individuals who have been deprived of their legal rights - Admitted to the New York and Florida Bar Compensation and Benefits: This is a full-time exempt position with a competitive salary based on experience and skills.
