Job Overview:

The Associate Attorney will primarily focus on handling government investigations, internal investigations, and other white-collar and regulatory matters. They will work closely with senior attorneys, clients, and external stakeholders to provide legal counsel and representation.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues related to government investigations, internal investigations, and regulatory matters.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and memoranda.
  • Assist in the preparation and management of discovery processes.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies and provide legal advice.
  • Maintain communication with clients, updating them on case developments and advising on legal options.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends affecting the firm's practice areas.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in handling government investigations, internal investigations, and other white-collar and regulatory matters.
  • Superior academic credentials from a top law school.
  • Excellent writing, research, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, and/or German is preferred.
  • Admission to the Illinois State Bar or eligibility for admission through reciprocity.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Illinois State Bar or eligibility for admission through reciprocity.

Skills:
