Wilson Elser's Denver office is looking for a Senior Paralegal to join their team. The firm is a full-service defense litigation law firm with more than 1000 attorneys across 42 offices in the United States and one in London. ### Qualifications

To be considered for the Senior Paralegal position, applicants must have:

* 2+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a fast-paced, high-volume, team-oriented environment
* Insurance defense experience is a plus
* Experience with pretrial discovery, hearings, arbitration, and trial preparations
* Ability to prioritize tasks for multiple attorneys
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Ability to multitask and manage a variety of demands daily
* Clear and effective communication skills both orally and written
* Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite and document management systems
* Ability to work independently and be proactive
* Bachelor’s degree a plus

### Responsibilities

As Senior Paralegal, responsibilities include:

* Drafting answers, disclosures, discovery requests and answers, stipulations, orders, general motions, and notices of IME
* Redacting claim files
* Processing and following up on authorizations for the receipt of medical, employment, worker’s compensation, disability, tax, union, educational, and other records
* Reviewing and summarizing medical records
* Communicating with experts, including IME doctors, in particular the selection of materials to be sent to experts
* Preparing records, reviewing and preparing exhibits, and trial preparation
* Reviewing, analyzing, and organizing document productions by opposing parties and co-defendants
* Reviewing files for outstanding discovery in preparation for court appearances, pleadings, depositions, and trial preparation
* Determining, preparing, and organizing material needed for expert witness review
* Assembling chronologies of key documents
* Managing documents and organizing case files
