This includes reviewing, drafting, and negotiating various contracts, as well as providing advice to internal stakeholders on transactions. You will also have the opportunity to lead and participate in special projects, conduct legal research, and perform administrative duties as needed. This position is part of the Legal team and offers a hybrid work arrangement. Your Responsibilities: - Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, including sales, service, confidential disclosure, and vendor contracts - Provide effective advice to internal stakeholders on contracts and other transactions - Work independently and collaboratively to manage, develop, and improve templates, playbooks, processes, and training programs - Lead and/or participate in special projects - Conduct legal research - Perform administrative duties as needed Requirements: - BA/BS degree from an accredited university and paralegal certificate from an ABA-accredited school or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education - 3+ years of relevant experience - Knowledge of basic contract terms and principles Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in the healthcare industry - Knowledge of legal, regulatory, and ethical issues relevant to medical device manufacturers - Experience implementing a contract lifecycle management system About Cepheid: Cepheid is passionate about improving healthcare through fast, accurate diagnostic testing.
