Duties
Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, mergers and acquisitions agreements, and commercial real estate transactions.
Negotiate terms and agreements on behalf of clients in various business and financial matters.
Provide legal counsel on corporate structures, including LLCs, partnerships, and other business entities.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations for clients in commercial transactions.
Collaborate with colleagues to manage and oversee transactional projects.
Maintain organized records of legal proceedings, contracts, and client communications.
Requirements
Minimum of 8 years of experience in transactional law.
Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
Extensive experience in at least one of the following areas: mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, commercial real estate, commercial loans, or general business transactions.
Ability to handle complex legal matters independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education
Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.
Certifications
Licensed to practice law in the state of Michigan (Required).
