We are currently seeking a Staff Attorney to join our Commercial Contracting team in one of our Ohio offices – Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus or Dayton.

**Job Overview:**

The Staff Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice and support on a variety of commercial contracting matters. This role requires a high level of expertise in contract drafting and negotiation. The Staff Attorney will work with the Commercial Contracting team to ensure that all contracts are properly drafted and negotiated in a timely and cost-effective manner.

**Requirements:**

* A minimum of two (2) years of experience working on commercial contracts
* At least one (1) year of contract drafting and negotiating experience in a law firm environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* JD degree from an accredited law school
* Licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio
* Experience with contract management software

## Staff Attorney Job Description

The Staff Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice and support on a variety of commercial contracting matters. The Staff Attorney will work with the Commercial Contracting team to ensure that all contracts are properly drafted and negotiated in a timely and cost-effective manner.

**Responsibilities:**

* Draft and negotiate commercial contracts
* Review and analyze contracts to ensure compliance with applicable laws
* Provide legal advice and support on a variety of commercial contracting matters
* Work with the Commercial Contracting team to ensure that all contracts are properly drafted and negotiated in a timely and cost-effective manner
* Assist with contract management software as needed

**Qualifications:**

* Minimum of two (2) years of experience working on commercial contracts
* At least one (1) year of contract drafting and negotiating experience in a law firm environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
