Location:

Duties:

  • Represent clients in civil litigation matters, including insurance coverage disputes
  • Handle arbitration, mediation, and courtroom representation
  • Draft and argue motions in court
  • Prepare for and participate in appellate matters
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and team members in developing case strategies
  • Maintain client relationships through regular communication and updates
  • Ensure all legal documentation is thoroughly researched and drafted
  • Provide general litigation support in insurance defense cases

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense
  • Experience in court appearances, arbitration, and mediation
  • Strong motion and appellate practice experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to professional growth
  • Must be admitted to practice law in New York

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New York State Bar (active and in good standing)
