Job Title: Lead Paralegal, Regulatory Affairs

Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000

Experience: Minimum 4 years in financial services legal practice

Location: St. Petersburg, FL (with potential for remote work)

Summary: The Regulatory Affairs Group within Raymond James is seeking an experienced Lead Paralegal to handle regulatory inquiries and enforcement matters. This role involves case management, legal research, and collaboration with attorneys and other team members. The ideal candidate will have a paralegal certificate and at least 4 years of experience in a financial services legal practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage cases and collaborate with attorneys
• Train and mentor other paralegals
• Conduct legal research and gather information
• Prepare reports and documents
• Coordinate with outside services and third parties
• Review and track expenses
• Maintain case management system
• Stay updated on paralegal practices and methodologies

Qualifications:

• Associate degree and 4 years of experience in financial services legal practice, or equivalent combination of experience and education
• Paralegal/Legal Assistant Certificate from an ABA accredited institution
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and establish effective working relationships
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Willingness to travel occasionally
