Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel and advice to clients in the areas of estate planning, estate and gift taxation, estate and trust administration, and related services.
• Work closely with a Partner who is Florida Bar Board Certified in Wills, Trusts and Estates.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff in the Private Client Services Practice Group to provide comprehensive and effective legal solutions to clients.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.
• Communicate and negotiate with clients and other parties involved in estate planning matters.
• Keep up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations related to estate planning.
• Attend and participate in firm events and seminars to enhance professional development and promote the firm’s services.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida Bar, or willingness to become a member.
• 5-15 years of relevant experience in estate planning, estate and gift taxation, and estate and trust administration.
• LLM in Tax or Estate Planning preferred, but not required.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
