As part of this commitment, they are offering the 2L Diversity Fellowship Program for second-year law students (Class of 2026). This program aims to support students who share their values and are dedicated to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the legal field. The fellowship offers a weekly salary throughout the 10-week program, as well as a $50,000 taxable fellowship. This fellowship will be paid in two installments: $20,000 after completing the firm's 2025 Summer Associate Program, and $30,000 within 30 days of joining the firm as an associate or law graduate. To be eligible for the fellowship, applicants must be second-year . students enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school. Foley & Lardner LLP welcomes applicants of all backgrounds, regardless of race, gender, age, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic or condition. In addition to applying for the fellowship through the firm's career portal, applicants must also apply for at least one of their 2L Summer Associate positions either through the career portal or OCI. To apply, interested applicants must submit a current resume, unofficial or official law school transcript, and a personal statement of approximately 500 words. The personal statement should highlight the applicant's background, accomplishments, and leadership experience that demonstrate their commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion within the legal community. Due to the high volume of applications, the firm is unable to respond to inquiries about the status of an application. However, applicants will receive a confirmation email upon submitting their application, and they will be contacted if they are selected for the fellowship.
