Duties:

  • Provide legal advice and representation to clients in construction law matters.
  • Draft and negotiate construction contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on construction law issues.
  • Advise clients on regulatory compliance and risk management in construction projects.
  • Attend hearings, depositions, trials, and other legal proceedings as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff on case management.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida State Bar or ability to waive into the Florida Bar.
  • 3+ years of experience practicing construction law.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, lien laws, and related regulations.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • Certification in Construction Law or related field.
