Job Title: Renewable Energy and Energy Transition Transactional Associate Location: San Diego, Los Angeles, or Houston Salary Range: $290,000 - $420,000 (based on experience) Experience: 4-8 years Overview: - Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking a highly motivated associate with 4-8 years of experience to join our Renewable Energy and/or Energy Transition development and finance practices in San Diego, Los Angeles, or Houston. - The ideal candidate will have broad experience with renewable energy and/or energy transition matters, particularly within solar, wind, storage, and other renewable energy areas or hydrogen, carbon, renewable fuels and other energy transition areas. - Strong drafting and project management skills are required. - Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and an exceptional work ethic are essential for this position. - Chinese language skills are a plus. Responsibilities: - Represent and advise on complex development and finance transactions, including equity and debt financing, merger and acquisitions transactions, and negotiating and drafting project documents. - Work with large and varied multi-disciplinary transactional teams across offices and interact with both senior attorneys and clients. - Manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines. - Stay updated on industry trends and developments.
