Associate Attorney Responsibilities:

- Conduct file review and legal analysis of workers’ compensation claims.
- Perform extensive legal research and draft various documents, including client correspondence, discovery devices, summations, appeals, and appellate briefs.
- Maintain an annual billable amount of 1950 hours.
- Regularly represent clients at depositions and hearings before the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board.
- Prepare for and attend trials.
- Retain and evaluate expert witnesses.

Requirements:

- At least one year of experience as a practicing attorney.
- . degree from an ABA-approved law school.
- Admitted to practice in the state of New York, other states a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent research abilities and written and oral communication skills.
