Duties

• Manage a caseload independently, from initial consultation to resolution.
• Provide strategic legal counsel in civil litigation and insurance matters, including construction-related claims.
• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare detailed briefs, pleadings, and motions.
• Represent clients effectively in courtroom settings, mediations, and arbitration hearings.
• Collaborate with paralegals and legal assistants to ensure timely and accurate case progression.
• Develop innovative legal strategies tailored to client needs and objectives.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients to provide updates and address concerns.

Requirements

• Licensed attorney in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in insurance coverage, construction law, and civil litigation.
• Proven ability to handle cases from inception to resolution with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional oral advocacy and negotiation skills.
• Impeccable legal writing and research capabilities.
• Strong leadership qualities and experience managing support staff effectively.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the State Bar of Texas.
