Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic design and management for small to medium discovery and fact development projects

• Implement discovery solutions for firm matters

• Manage projects, track and report on costs and progress

• Interact with and manage outside vendors

• Lead teams of MTO and leased reviewers as necessary

• Respond to work requests from LPS management

• Lead trial preparation support processes

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• . degree from a major, accredited law school

• Admitted to the CA bar, active and in good standing

• Flexibility to work long hours and travel on short notice

• Minimum of 5 years of complex litigation experience in a law firm

• Experience in discovery project design, implementation, supervision, budgeting and quality control

• Substantial experience in all aspects of litigation project management

• Fluency in technical language of desktop and enterprise business information systems

• Strong organizational, reasoning, and research skills

• Flexibility, composure, and ability to prioritize and handle urgent tasks

• Teamwork, team-building, and leadership experience

• Ability to work with little supervision and demonstrate initiative and sound judgment

Physical Demands:

• Writing, typing, reading, speaking, hearing, seeing, sitting, bending, reaching, lifting up to 25 lbs.

Working Conditions:

• Quiet office environment in a high-rise building, seated majority of the time

As a Staff Attorney Project Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategic design and management for small to medium discovery and fact development projects, as well as implementing discovery solutions for firm matters. You will also have the opportunity to manage projects, track and report on costs and progress, and interact with and manage outside vendors. Additionally, you will lead teams of MTO and leased reviewers as necessary, and respond to work requests from LPS management.

To be successful in this role, you must have a . degree from a major, accredited law school and be admitted to the CA bar in good standing. You should also have at least 5 years of complex litigation experience in a law firm, with a strong background in discovery project design, implementation, and management. Fluency in technical language of desktop and enterprise business information systems is also required, as well as strong organizational, reasoning, and research skills.
