A law firm in Tampa, FL, is seeking a skilled and experienced Corporate/Mergers and Acquisitions/Private Equity Associate Attorney to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to practice in a broad range of areas, including corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, securities, and real estate joint ventures.Duties:Conduct legal research and analysis related to corporate, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity matters.Draft and review transactional documents, including contracts, agreements, and other legal instruments.Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on complex corporate transactions.Assist in due diligence processes for mergers, acquisitions, and private equity deals.Collaborate with senior attorneys to manage and oversee legal matters for clients.Stay abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and legal developments affecting corporate and private equity transactions.Requirements:Minimum of 2 years of experience in sophisticated mergers and acquisitions or private equity transactions.Excellent academic credentials and qualifications.Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced legal environment.Comparable law firm experience is highly desirable.Education:Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Florida Bar or eligibility for admission.Certifications:Bar admission in the State of Florida.Skills:Solid understanding of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity principles.Exceptional legal research and analytical skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Proficiency in legal software and tools.
