Job Description:
- Conducts independent investigations of discrimination cases within the state of Florida.
- Gathers and accurately records information through interviews or correspondence with parties involved.
- Conducts research and collects facts about assigned complaints.
- Writes investigative reports within statutory timeframes.
- Testifies and appears before Commission panels and in civil court proceedings and administrative hearings.
- Pending reclassification and eligible for telework.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 1 year of experience OR experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis.
- Experience conducting fact-finding interviews and writing detailed reports.
- Skilled in using logic, active listening, and deductive reasoning.
- Ability to analyze information and write accurate reports.
- Maintains strict confidentiality and makes independent decisions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to establish productive working relationships.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 1 year of experience.
- Experience conducting fact-finding interviews, writing detailed reports, and analyzing documentation.
