Job Overview: A reputable law firm in Arlington Heights is seeking a dedicated Residential Real Estate Attorney to join their team. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work with a team of skilled attorneys and paralegals in a high-volume residential real estate practice. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to exceptional client service. Experience in residential real estate law is preferred.

Duties:

  • Manage a high caseload in residential real estate transactions, including buying, selling, and leasing properties
  • Provide legal advice and representation to clients throughout the transaction process
  • Draft and review real estate documents such as purchase agreements, leases, and closing statements
  • Negotiate terms and resolve disputes related to real estate transactions
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, referral sources, and other legal professionals
  • Participate in networking activities and community involvement initiatives
  • Stay current with changes in residential real estate laws and regulations

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in Illinois
  • Prior experience in residential real estate law preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Client-focused with a commitment to providing high-quality legal services
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
