A growing regional real estate firm is seeking a South Carolina licensed attorney to handle real estate closings for its Columbia, SC office. The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting closing ceremonies, reviewing title searches, and handling various real estate documents, including trusts, estates, and corporate documents. Location:

  • Columbia, SC

Duties:

  • Conduct real estate closing ceremonies with clients
  • Examine title searches and review recorded documents, including trusts, estates, and corporate documents
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the closing process
  • Maintain attention to detail in preparing and managing real estate documents
  • Collaborate with the team at the firm’s headquarters for support and guidance
  • Ensure proper documentation is signed and filed during closings

Requirements:

  • Active South Carolina Bar License
  • 1+ years of experience in Real Estate Law (preferred)
  • Knowledge of the real estate closing process for South Carolina
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel to other locations as needed

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active South Carolina Bar Admission (Required)

Skills:

  • Knowledge of real estate closing processes in South Carolina
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in reviewing legal documents, including title searches and real estate contracts
