Indianapolis office of a **Members Only** Top Ranked Law Firm seeks tax associate attorney with 2-3 years of experience working on federal, state, and local tax matters. The candidate will research and analyze complex federal tax matters. Will assist in structuring mergers and acquisitions and related tax work on such transactions. Work with tax-exempt organizations, advising them on corporate governance matters and federal tax issues. Assist on tax controversy matters, including state and local tax audits, appeals, and litigation. Collaborate with partners and associates across practice groups and across offices. Interact independently with clients. Supervise and review more junior attorneys' work. Must have prior firm experience working on complex tax matters. Must have a keen interest in developing and implementing relationship-building skills both internally and externally. Should have prior experiences that prepare them to work with attorneys, staff, and clients from cultures and backgrounds different from their own.
