## Job Description: Senior Associate/Junior Partner – Civil Litigation at **Members Only**

**Members Only**, a well-established and respected civil litigation firm, is looking to fill the position of Senior Associate or Junior Partner in the civil litigation department. The successful candidate will be responsible for representing clients in various civil disputes, managing a caseload, conducting legal research and drafting legal documents, engaging in negotiation and mediation efforts, collaborating with other attorneys and support staff, and participating in business development initiatives.

### Job Responsibilities:

- Represent clients in various civil dispute matters, including but not limited to collections, construction litigation, demand letters, landlord-tenant matter, and malicious prosecution
- Manage a caseload with minimal supervision, ensuring deadlines are met and providing regular updates to clients
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Engage in negotiation and mediation efforts to resolve disputes amicably
- Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure seamless case management
- Participate in business development initiatives, including networking events and client meetings
- Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and paralegals

### Requirements:

- . from an accredited law school and an active member in good standing with a state bar association
- 2-10 years of experience practicing civil litigation
- Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills
- Strong negotiation and mediation skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse caseload
- Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and client confidentiality
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-centered focus
- Experience in business development and networking activities is a plus

### Salary Range

This role offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 (commensurate with experience).

### Location

This role is available in the following locations: Columbus (Polk Co., NC), Marion (McDowell Co., NC), Lincolnton (Lincoln Co., NC), Waynesville, (Haywood Co., NC), Charlotte (Mecklenburg), and Brevard (Transylvania Co., NC).
