Columbia office of a **Members Only** Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a family law associate attorney with experience. The candidate will serve in divorce, child custody, and property division matters. Will be responsible for providing legal advice and services to clients, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in court. Draft legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, motions, and briefs. Conduct legal research and provide legal advice to clients. Represent clients in court proceedings and other legal proceedings. Prepare for trial by examining witnesses, researching case law, and preparing legal arguments. Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients. Provide advice to clients on a variety of legal matters. Maintain client confidentiality. Should have a strong knowledge of family law, excellent communication skills, and the ability to think critically and analyze complex legal issues.
