Job Overview:

A busy civil litigation law firm is actively seeking a Lateral Partner with experience in construction litigation, personal injury defense, and insurance coverage matters. This is a full-time position based in Denver, CO, offering the opportunity to litigate cases in Colorado and, for interested and qualified candidates, in Florida, New Mexico, and Wyoming. Location:

• Denver, CO

Duties:

• Manage a full litigation caseload involving construction defect, bodily injury, and insurance coverage matters

• Independently handle all phases of civil litigation, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, mediations, and trial

• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda

• Communicate effectively with clients, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel

• Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution

• Ensure timely reporting and compliance with firm and client procedures

• Collaborate with internal teams and contribute to firm-wide legal strategy

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in construction litigation, bodily injury defense, and insurance coverage

• Ability to independently handle a litigation file from start to finish

• Strong legal writing, analytical, and negotiation skills

• Interest in multistate litigation is a plus, especially with relevant licensure

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited . law school

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing with the Colorado State Bar

• Licensure in Florida, New Mexico, or Wyoming is a plus
