Job Overview: A leading law firm in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Mid-Level Litigation Associate to join its dynamic Litigation group. Duties:

• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide legal counsel.
• Supervise and mentor junior associates, guiding them through complex litigation processes.
• Collaborate with expert witnesses to enhance case strategies and development.
• Assist in fact-finding missions, including depositions and discovery.
• Review and draft legal documents, including discovery responses, briefs, and motions.
• Help formulate comprehensive case strategies to ensure favorable outcomes for clients.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree with strong academic credentials from nationally recognized institutions.
• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably within an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Must be admitted to practice in Arizona.
• A background in science (., MD, MPH, PharmD, or Epidemiology degree) is essential.
• Experience in product liability and/or complex commercial litigation, particularly within the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors.

Education:

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Additional advanced degree in a scientific field preferred.

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice law in Arizona.
